State Representative Tim Briggs (149th PA Legislative District, which includes Penn Wynne) is holding his Breakfast With Briggs series this summer to give constituents a chance to discuss legislative issues. He is also running a Summer Food Drive and will be accepting donations between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Details at the link below.
The Lower Merion Federation of Civic Associations will be meeting Thursday, May 11th at 7:00pm in the Lower Merion School District Board Room. Representatives of the neighborhood civic associations throughout Lower Merion Township will gather to discuss matters of shared interest.
This Thursday, May 4th, at 6:30 pm the Civic Association is hosting a Candidate Meet & Greet in the elementary school cafetorium. We have invited all twelve candidates for the open positions on the Lower Merion School Board and the event is open to the public. Following the Meet & Greet at 7:30 we will have our ordinary business meeting.

There will be a forum for Democratic candidates for the Lower Merion School Board this Wednesday, March 8th at 7:30pm on the 2nd floor of Narberth Borough Hall. The forum is hosted by the Democratic Committee of Lower Merion and Narberth. The Democratic Primary will be on May 16th. This forum is of particular interest to Penn Wynne in light of the potential expansion of Penn Wynne Elementary School.
