The Lower Merion Federation of Civic Associations will be meeting Thursday, May 11th at 7:00pm in the Lower Merion School District Board Room. Representatives of the neighborhood civic associations throughout Lower Merion Township will gather to discuss matters of shared interest.
This Thursday, May 4th, at 6:30 pm the Civic Association is hosting a Candidate Meet & Greet in the elementary school cafetorium. We have invited all twelve candidates for the open positions on the Lower Merion School Board and the event is open to the public. Following the Meet & Greet at 7:30 we will have our ordinary business meeting.

We’ll be meeting in the Group Meeting Room of the Penn Wynne Library. The meeting is open to the public as always.
There will be a forum for Democratic candidates for the Lower Merion School Board this Wednesday, March 8th at 7:30pm on the 2nd floor of Narberth Borough Hall. The forum is hosted by the Democratic Committee of Lower Merion and Narberth. The Democratic Primary will be on May 16th. This forum is of particular interest to Penn Wynne in light of the potential expansion of Penn Wynne Elementary School. We’ll be meeting in the Group Meeting Room by the front desk and it is open to the public as always. Amy Krulik from the JCC will be there to speak to and answer questions regarding recent events at the JCC.
The LMSD Board of School Directors will hold a special public work session on Monday, February 27 at 7 PM in the LMHS Board Room to continue discussion of facilities issues related to enrollment growth in Lower Merion School District. The work session is part of extensive, ongoing efforts to plan for increasing enrollment across the District.
Looking for a volunteer opportunity in your community? On April 23rd from 1 to 4 pm in Wynnewood Valley Park the Penn Wynne Civic Association will be holding its 5th annual Earth Day Celebration and we need your help! We need help setting up the event, assisting the exhibitors at their tables and clean up. This event is a lot of fun and aims to bring neighbors together while sharing information on ways we all can reduce our carbon footprint. This free event features live music, eco-friendly crafts for kids, raffles and more. Please consider lending a hand to make this event a success. There is a link below to sign up.
