About Us

The PWCA meets the first Thursday of every month, except for July and August. Everyone is welcome at our monthly meetings, which offer a forum for discussion of issues concerning Penn Wynne residents.  Current officers are listed here.

Working committees of the board focus on:

Community Events – PWCA sponsors five annual events: Earth Day (usually the Sunday closest to Earth Day, 1 – 4 pm, Wynnewood Valley Park), the Summer Hummer (June, Wynnewood Valley Park), our 4th of July Parade & Carnival (July 4th, 9 am – 1 pm, Penn Wynne Park), our Annual Meeting (October/November) and our New Years at Noon celebration (December 31st).

Open Space – We maintain and protect our neighborhood’s two beautiful open spaces – Penn Wynne Playground and Wynnewood Valley Park – and support greening projects throughout our community. We also provide input on development and zoning issues affecting Penn Wynne residents.

Public Safety – We coordinate the Neighborhood Watch program in Penn Wynne and work with the Penn Wynne Fire Company and the Lower Merion Police Department to promote security for all Penn Wynne residents.

Outreach – We serve as a resource for all Penn Wynne residents, and coordinate with civic organizations throughout Lower Merion and in neighboring communities.

Please join us and share your ideas, talent and enthusiasm!
